An intimate talk with NPR’s Here and Now’s Resident Chef, Kathy Gunst, about her new book, Soup Swap (Chronicle Books). She’ll talk about the idea of building community by throwing a soup swap party (with friends, neighbors, yoga group, book group, church or synagogue and more) and how to make stocks from leftovers, ideas for seasonal soups, side dishes and more. Registration is not required, however pre-registration is available to reserve a seat, with $5 non-refundable fee. Fee can be applied to purchase of Soup Swap cookbook on the night of the event. To register, please call 978-263-1955. Kathy Gunst is a James Beard award winning food journalist and author of 15 cookbooks. Her latest book is Soup Swap (Chronicle Books). She is the Resident Chef for the award winning NPR show Here and Now, heard on over 500 public radio stations nationwide. She writes for the Washington Post, Eating Well, Yankee, Boston Globe, Down East, New York Times and more.
