This class features the harvest foods of New England. Learn new methods of preparing different squashes, seasonal fall greens, and root vegetables like rutabaga and leeks. We’ll be making healthy sides, main courses, and a dessert featuring apples or pears. Bring the colors and flavors of fall to the dinner table, get new ideas, recipes and enjoy the process and food. Enjoy the evening with samples in our new kitchen classroom. Pre-registration required. Cost: $50.00 each student Catherine Walthers is a private chef in the Boston area and on Martha’s Vineyard where she has a teaching kitchen and gives cooking classes throughout the year. She is author of 4 cookbooks: Greens, Glorious Greens; Raising the Salad Bar; Soups + Sides; Kale, Glorious Kale.
