Learn to make soups brimming with flavor and healthy ingredients. We’ll make comforting, easy-to-prepare soups, and pair them with seasonal fall salads. Soups are the ultimate one-pot meals and a great way to add vegetables, protein, grains and beans without a lot of fat or calories. This class covers techniques for making great soups, including stock, and tips for improving your salads. Pre-registration required. Catherine Walthers is a private chef in the Boston area and on Martha’s Vineyard where she has a teaching kitchen and gives cooking classes throughout the year. She is author of 4 cookbooks: Greens, Glorious Greens; Raising the Salad Bar; Soups + Sides; Kale, Glorious Kale.
