Georgette’s Galettes was created as tribute to my mother Georgette Leberger whose family recipe was carried on from her parents who owned a bakery in the southern Belgium town of Namur. My parents Leopold & Georgette Leberger both grew up in a Belgian bakery heritage and owned several bakeries themselves. The hope is to carry on my family’s legacy and tradition in this wonderful Belgian pastry the “galette”. Their love carries on with every smile you see when someone enjoys this wonderful treat.
