I too get irritated hearing and seeing Christmas trees and items in stores and Halloween is a month off. However, especially with what is going on now, businesses would be wise to think and plan if you are able to do something for employees and/or customers this year. A lot of budgets are very tight. Even a small item shows you appreciate them. Since so many are still working from home and most likely will be for quite a while, think of something that the whole family would use or like. There are many items that could be used. Some quite inexpensively. It saves the business cost yet shows they appreciate the recipient.
Agreeing with what others have said, there are other things to think about. Your product sounds very custom. I would not be in a hurry to discount. You still need to make a profit. Discounting would diminish the perceived value. Instead offer an incentive to purchase your holiday promotion by...

Discounting would diminish the perceived value. Instead offer an incentive to purchase your holiday promotion by a certain date. This gives them a sense of urgency. Look at your current clientele. Could you give them an incentive to send you a qualified referral that would purchase?
I agree with you. We have not panicked either. Did not and still have not bought anything we don't need for the next few days or week. Course somethings can't get at all. If people had not panicked, fed by news media, I can't help but think we might be a bit better concerning all the food...

If people had not panicked, fed by news media, I can't help but think we might be a bit better concerning all the food and other products shortages we are dealing with. I was blindsided by the whole thing until the day I went to buy toilet paper. Then I found out. Common sense seems to have disappeared. What happened to hygiene?This is bad enough, what would people do if something worse happened. I shudder to think. Small business is hurting the most. My hopes are this does not destroy small business and we are able to rebuild. People get jobs back and get back to work. We just all need to stick together and get through this. Help each other when we can. Everyone please take care and be safe.
You can most definitely create a successful pizza box mail campaign. There are parameters that need to be defined in order to make it successful. It is not a shot in the dark approach.

Show them you are interested in learning about them, ask who they are, learn about them, not what they do. Then you have the opportunity to go into what is the main issue they are currently facing in their business and you will get more honest answers.
