I started my business by working part-time at a tax office. At least four to five times a week, someone would come in asking for a notary and needing documents notarized. So, I decided to become a notary public. Shortly after that, through word of mouth, I was asked to come to nursing homes and hospitals to complete notarization on the POA and Advance Health-Care Directive. I liked meeting new people, so I became a mobile notary, which landed me as a signing agent.
