How We Got Started

After retiring from St. Joseph Health System, Linda began bookkeeping remotely for friends who were setting up new consulting and coaching businesses. One client had just passed the Bar and become an attorney.

After several years of training and with referrals from those awesome original clients, the business quickly took off, and wanting to be even more helpful, Linda's skills grew to encompass many other back-office tasks, including websites, marketing, and managing coaching contracts and portals.

She continues to acquire experience in a wide variety of industries and disciplines, specializing in assisting self-employed individuals to set up and track their business financials.

Anything you can delegate and figure out together with your VA right from the beginning will never be in the way of you getting out there and growing your business and providing exceptional service or products.  It's so easy and comfortable to fill your days with "busy" back office work and have it seem like your business is thriving and successful, but true success is each and every interaction you have with current and potential clients and customers.  Linda Hansen, Paperless VA "Free up time to do what you do best!"

I let clients come to me through whatever means (mostly referrals) and decide to engage my services based on my reputation and whether or not we "click" in the interview call. No gimmicks, no "deals". I try to attract clients that I can respect and enjoy interacting with. People I can partner with in making their business successful. I choose clients I can learn from or mentor in some way, that inspire me to do my personal best as well as stretch me to go above and beyond. These people are going to be filling my days, so I need them to enrich my life, not drain me with negativity and dissatisfaction.  I've found that if I over-promote myself, or give "deals" I attract clients that are always looking for more deals, or never totally committed to our working together or to having a collaborative relationship...
