Can Anyone Recommend a Service That Scans Documents and Then Can Be Edited?

I am trying to find a service that scans documents and then can be edited such as a Optical character Recognition software(OCR). I did a Google search in Ottawa but one was off line and another could not take any business.

Generally once it is scanned then it should be editable and delivered with a DVD.

Does anyone know of such a service.

Kind Regards

http://www.backfile-document-scanning.com is another option. Haven't had the need for quite a while myself, so it is hard to "recommend" as such.

OK -- I don't know if my service provider will be right for you. They usually takes about 10 bankers' boxes at a time from me, and I get bulk pricing as a result. They specialize in legal and medical records, which are highly sensitive and involve regulatory compliance issues.

You can get simple scanning / OCR services from Staples for small batches of less than 1,000 pages. If you think you need more documents than this, you can try contacting [email address]. I don't know if they would be suitable for such a small job; they might be too expensive in... (more)

Not a problem Rob! I figured that Staples would be the best solution and I never thoughtof Staples as the place to go. But I thank you for your help

Yes, but I would still like to know this answer: What type / volume of documents do you need scanned?

Hello Rob,

It is approximately 150 pages or more. Thank you for your help!
