Hello everyone.

Thanks for the great replies regarding my website. Let me be specific as to what my expectations are.

I prefer a site built in code, not a blog site like Wordpress. I have found that security is not as good with WP and easy to hack. I work hard as a photographer and my images are important as well as has value.

Currently my site is a mess. If it would be any help I can post some photographers sites that I really like, but I don't want to be boxed into one type of work. I do commercial and real estate as well as freelance and art.

Here is my... (more)

3 yrs, 40 wordpress sites. The one that got hacked was because I was stupid. A massive percentage of the time, that's the case when an intrusion occurs. Someone did something stupid.

The excess vulnerability comes from plugins that can also have exploits. However most intrusions occur because the default username wasn't changed, a bad password and no honeypot or captcha. To get the wide variety of features the massive plugin library has out of a developer... college education. Maybe half of the second kid's.

One advantage you most certainly should have: speed.... (more)

Hi Vincent

I do not own or work at a Webdesign agency, but as an Internet "geek" since the late nineties, I have built hundreds of sites for me, family, friends, employers etc... and wanted to tell you that I have converted to WordPress in 2010 without a hitch, never went back to fully coding a website (I sometimes code inside... Vincent,

Good morning- if you are looking for a coded website you are going to pay and pay big money-think in the range of 70-100,000.00 They don't come cheap, they are worth more when they are finished but personally I can't justify the price. I also can't encourage you enough to use someone local- someone that has references and someone that if things go south you have some control over refunds (this is coming from someone who got burnt to the tune of 70,000.00 with no way to collect).

Also a good site with proper security and using watermarks on your pics... (more)

I do not sell website development. But online marketing is a game of PSYOPS. (planned operations to convey selected information and indicators to audiences to influence their emotions, motives, and objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of your prospects)

A Pretty website is not necessarily an effect website, and I assume your end game is more clients... What you think of your website is irreverent, only what your prospects think and if they convert to customers matter.

Your ad copy/your message is going to make or break weather you get what you... (more)
