EVERY media works as long as the advertiser has followed the requisite steps to ensure the media is the one that will get a well crafted message in front of their ideal clients/target market.

The problem is too many companies try to choose a media before doing the other two steps. When they do that, any media will fail.

NO media, including social, is "worth the money" unless you follow the time proven principles. And whatever sector you are in doesn't matter, because the principles of basic advertising apply and will help determine the most cost... (more)

When we say "pay" I am referring to an upgrade in Linkedin to Sales Navigator and a tool/software subscription that sends connection invites to targeted prospects... generally business owners. One of the best ways to use social media is shooting videos and writing a blog. You will have to learn some basic SEO using key words so that you content is found. Or at least put videos on your website and send out a post to everyone you know and have them share it. Make a video about your product or service educating people. I get good business from this.

I have had very little success with 2 leads generating sites. I prepared scripts from professional sales training and followed the sales process that had "proven results".
In Alberta as well as Canada we have seen mortgage rules change enough that what worked yesterday is not necessarily working today.
Basics like communication, involvement in your community, as well as showing up ready to work without instant gratification are what win the day in this industry.
Fintech will never supersede professionalism.
