Does Anyone Know of an Attorney Referral Service?

By Victor Casco · Posted on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 · Tagged in General Discussion

Does anyone know of an attorney referral service, other than attorney search network who provides clients to attorneys' office for a percentage of the attorney's fees, instead of up front money?

LegalShield has a network of law firms across the company who provide legal service/advice for LegalShield members with their own in-house attorneys in addition to providing legal services to the general public.

Sometimes however, they 'refer out' member requests to small, independent law firms.

To be considered, write to [email address] if you're in Arizona. If not, call the corporate office in Oklahoma and ask them what the process is for the state you're in. That number is (580) 436-1234. You might try emailing [email address] but I'm not sure about that.

The Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Ventura County Bar Associations both have attorney referral services.

I do not think the state bar rules allow this type of referral services. the bar does not allow it because it is sharing legal fees with a non-attorney.

Just to put everyone's mind at ease. I am referring to attorney search network. They are a referral service in California that is certified by the State Bar of California. Do a Google search. Attorney Search Network is the only one of its kind I know. I was asking if anyone knew of any other such referral services.

There are groups such as SoCalPros which is comprised of various legal support vendors (depo company, repro company, bankers, real estate, attorney service . .. ) and the sole purpose of that group is to network and share info on law firms - what firms are good, slow payers . . . so there is that type but as far as a company which is for attorneys to be referred work, I don't know of any. I am not a part of SoCalPros at the company I work for but we are well connected - If I can help you, please let me know. ~ Mary
