Has anyone used Google Posts for promotion purposes? If so, do you find them useful and what kind of a ROI have you received?

I have before but, I really only use Google for SEO purposes now. Facebook is way more active and useful to promote your product. Sad to say but, it is true. Google can be very powerful if done right and you had the correct targeted friends on your list.

It's absolutely important if your currently getting impressions in the maps. If you struggle to rank than I would skip as the posts expire every 7 days. If you are getting impressions it's an opportunity for additional branding with imagery in which you can offer a promotion or add additional content. From a SEO perspective.. OMG.. but will keep quiet about that one.

Google Posts allows you to publish your events, products and services directly to Google Search (in the Knowledge Panel) and Maps but they stay live for only seven days.

Make sure you track click activity with UTM codes. By creating a custom URL to use in the call-to-action link, you can see more information about the users in Google Analytics and find out if they converted after visiting your site.

Appropriate amounts of posting you do online can't hurt and Google Posts coupled with Google My Business (formerly Google+) posting, you will have more information... (more)

I do not use Google post as there are much much more sound cost effective means to get ranked in Google.
