How Can You Get Out Of A Contract?

By Jennifer Miller · Posted on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 · Tagged in Website

Have any of you worked with Hibu? I am extremely disappointed with them and, although fortunate that I haven't yet been billed, want to cancel my contract. Any local web services you could recommend?

Try contacting Adrian Sanchez. He works there and has a highly ethical character. He can advise you of your options.

Hi there: Todahl Design & Printing can take over your web services; however, we would most likely have to re-establish the site for a small fee on our own platform, and depending on the complexity of the site, it will be roughly $150.00 to re-create and/or copy. Then about $25.00 to maintain your website and service your website contract. :-) I can't tell where you are located; however, we are in Western Washington. Please call us at xxx-xxx-xxxx or xxx-xxx-xxxx. Please also see us at www.todahlprinting.com

I also meant to tell you that we have a corporate attorney who would be able to cite the appropriate Contract Law and/or Caselaw to get you out of your current situation with the other provider.

Thanks, Suzanne! I am going to look into this. I was able to get out of the contract, but I am wondering now about consumer rights.
