I wanted to offer my pov after reading all of the awesome responses! For myself, I've come to rely on mobile apps that allow me to manage my social media content, which has become needed with my 15 profiles. It can be challenging keeping everything straight since I'm dealing with three distinct markets. I also use mobile apps that help me create sales and promotions on the fly, as well as managing my inventory. This is simple. Websites need to be mobile friendly since more searches are done from mobile devices. We build websites and saw a nice increase when Google announced its mobile friendly test.

It's huge! Mobile has a 90% open rate and customers get my marketing in real time. It has brought me sales conversions over any other medium. Now we have MMS and I can send out a video in real time by text.
Also mobile can be geo fenced to a certain zip code and localize my efforts even more.
It amazes me that more businesses aren't using these real time mobile marketing tools.
