Quickbooks Intuit is a great tool to run a small business. Many of my merchants love the accounting and the extra tools it allows them to run a business. And I will say the Customer Service is pretty good as well.

I was thinking that since we do work daily directly with many many accounting firms and merchants directly that use Quickbooks that although I don't know of any better Accounting software on the market, there is one area that I do need to bring to your attention. As a Diamond Certified QuickBooks local advisor for 11 years now, I have watched them improve and upgrade the program constantly. That's what keeps them the industry leader. There are lots of competitors, but QuickBoosk is still king.

I love Quickbooks. It allows me to keep track of all the services I provide, easy invoice generation, payment collection and expense tracking. It is a bit on the pricey side at around 21 dollars a month, but it is the tool that I use frequently.

There is a reason QuickBook has been the leading bookkeeping software for small business for years - it works well!

The desktop version is as solid as it gets, however, the online version is a continued work in progress. Expect the online version to improve in the next few years as Intuit works to remain the leader with its online version as newer cloud-based providers like Xero begin to gain market-share.
