Quickbooks Intuit is a great tool to run a small business. Many of my merchants love the accounting and the extra tools it allows them to run a business. And I will say the Customer Service is pretty good as well.

I was thinking that since we do work daily directly with many many accounting firms and merchants directly that use Quickbooks that although I don't know of any better Accounting software on the market, there is one area that I do need to bring to your attention. When opening a merchant account with Quickbooks directly their processing fees and rates... (more)

QuickBooks online is good for basic business, but if you have AR/AP Payroll, those services are not always up to date with labor laws, proper taxes etc. QuickBooks desktop can be much more customized to your business. The program has flexibility that many of the other "out of the box" accounting software programs do not have.

I agree that the Merchant Services offered through Intuit for QB... (more)

I have been using Intuit Quickbooks from the very first edition up until now. It transformed the way we do bookkeeping and made accounting reports revolutionary. No more manual bookkeeping that took forever to tally. Quickbooks was and still is a game changer for any business, especially if a small business owner can't afford to hire a full time bookkeeper. The instructions are easy to follow and don't require any special accounting background in order to create accurate bookkeeping for tax purposes. You can link it to your bank account and you can perform... (more)

Quickbooks is easy to use, sometime too easy as people can use it without knowing much about bookkeeping. The best thing about it is how many people know, there is a large population of people who can be asked for help
