I've been Using Facebook and a few other Social media sites to promote and advertise my Company for almost 10 years now. I must say it is one of the best tools I still use today to generate new customers daily! I recommend to every small business owner to utilize this medium to grow and generate more revenue for your company hands down!

Hi Jason, Maybe we can help promote each others company. Meet for a coffee and talk for a few minutes? Some time next week would work for me.

I like them, the platform is pretty intuitive and allows you to target very specifically. The analytics make it simple to see what your audience is responding to. The budgets are flexible and the integration with Instagram is definitely a bonus for me.

We admin over 100 Facebook Pages for clients, and at least half use us to run their facebook ads. Budgets range from as little as $50/mo to $1000/mo. I can tell you from years of experience, back to 2012 when FB launched ads in it's infancy, that they DO work when you put the time into them to target, read analytics, refine the targeting and adjust budget. Not just once, but continually. Just clicking the Boost button and using the general targeting isn't going to work for many businesses. Go into Ads Manager and the rest of the ads dashboard and REALLY dig... (more)

I'm glad you pointed out the facts about "boosting your post button" Too many businesses (including some clients I have) are suckers for that game and FB loves that because it'a real money maker for them.

It's also just one more reason that nearly everyone who has an opinion about Facebook ads has little more than that as it relates to knowledge of how they work (or not) and how to actually make them pay off.

The truth is, most of the businesses that are going it on their own with FB ads don't have a clue as to what they are doing and conversely their opinion... (more)

Yes, I've been told to avoid boosting posts on Facebook because the boosted post simply goes out to anyone who happens to be on Facebook at that time. With Facebook ads, you can really define very specifically who will see the ads. You also make good points about the website being in good shape too, so people have a good experience when the ad directs them to your website.
