How Many Times Should You Ask a Customer for a Review?

If you know the customer is extremely satisfied with your services because they have verbalized it many times, but have yet to put it in writing on BBB or Google, how many times should you ask them for a review? I always ask them when their invoice has been paid in full and I have made sure they are 100% satisfied. So, how many times and in what ways could I get some return on my review requests?

I never ask for a review unless I'm trying to get reviews started. If there Happy they will do it on there own

We use a Birdeye for our review service. I have been completely pleased. We upload the customer information weekly and they send either text or email reminders. We have changed our online review presence for the good by using this service. I always take the time to thank the customer for their review.

We actually communicate via email or FB with alot of our customers, so if they take the time to write to you personally that your company did a great job, we just email them and make them aware we used their project as another satisfied client. People are weird sometimes like they are taking responsibility for any job after you've completed theirs, even if they are happy with it. we also mail out a customer survey and send a stamped envelope with it, we seem to get a better response, with that method.
