Many years ago, I would advertise and hold small group sessions targeting new individuals willing to get licensed. I designated a member of my staff to manage the process. When you are able to train and mentor agents and help them with their goals (no matter what direction they desire to go), it will ultimately be mutually beneficial.

Well the way that I was found was through Monster. What they do over at bankers is pretty much call everybody and do a group interview and then do one on one interviews.

It's rather simple Kevin: you ask someone to do it for you. The best place to start is carrier reps because they are they eyes and ears of the industry and are the most efficient headhunters out there. There is also nothing wrong with stealing talent which is achieved by offering something somebody wants that someone else is not willing to offer; you have the luxury of being in a commission driven business model, be creative!
