Looking For Help With Google For My Pet Care Business

By Crystal Dewars · Posted on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 · Tagged in General Discussion

I can't figure out google for my pet care business.

My business and adds don't show up in any searches and there is no one to contact through them to help me.

Has any other pet care business used Google effectively? Any tips?

Hi Crystal D., I've just listed not done ads there, but there is a great website www.prosperouspetbusiness.com and Kristin Morrison the head of this organization does a great webinar on optimising the SEO on your website. If you do not have a website, this may be why this is happening. The webinars are usually $20 in advance and 30 if it gets closer to the presentation. She is a wealth of info and also has 3 books available on amazon. She also sells tools to help you have a successful biz, like contract, etc. Hope this helps.

Hi. I am listed on Google and Google maps. It is important that you ask your customers to leave a review for you on Google maps. This will help you get on the map with google. I do not create ads on google...only every once in awhile. I advertise on Craigslist, I am in the Yellow Pages, I have a Facebook page that i run ads through. I also have passed out brochures and business cards. I get recommended by local vets in the area. I have built a great reputation here in Grand Rapids and my business is growing through word of mouth and from little to no cost... (more)

Hello Crystal, When I first started my pet sitting business I tried web.com. They helped me do my website and also helped me get my business name out there on Google. If you are are not an SEO expert (search engine optimization) you may want to get GO DADDY, WEB.COM or a company like them to help you. They submit your information to google and eventually your company name will start showing up.
