A lot of bar owners want to know numbers. How many people can you bring in? Do you have social proof of those numbers? Twitter, facebook or instagram followers. Is there a bar guarantee? Some bars will say you can use their spot for an event but will ask that you sign some paperwork guaranteeing they will make a certain amount at the bar.

I would speak with the owner and inform of what you can do to accomplish a Dj night also I would research the kind of crowd you would be dealing with. for example you can have a rock and roll crown on Monday - Wednesdays and a r&B, Dance crowd Thursdays - Saturdays.
