Kimberly, it's all about the marketing!

You have to persuade and influence. And you have to know all the reasons the business will NOT let you do a Lunch and Learn. Here would be my initial list:

-I don't trust you. If we let you in, it will be a sales fest, not an educational experience.

-Legal concerns. I do not want to put my business at risk by appearing to endorse you/your company.

-Employees will blame me if they become your client and lose money. "Well, I wouldn't have given them money if YOU hadn't had them here!!" Crazy but true.
