Forget depending on referrals and word of mouth to grow your business. They are exceptions to the rule. You can only hope to get a few new customers per year this way.

Marketing yourself and your services is the way to go. And these days you can get your name out there whether through tradional channels or modern channels like social media for a few hundred dollars each month.

We are Travel consultants who help people take the dream / bucket list vacation. The best way to find loyal customers or referrals is to have great customer service for your clients. Word of mouth for satisfied customers will go a long way to getting new clients. For Travel consultants, always check back on your clients after they return from their trip. Just a few things I consider to gain loyal clients for your business.

Start with connecting with your friends and family and past clients. Check in with them often through email and phone calls and (after catching up)ask them if they can think of anyone who might benefit from your services. Do this consistently for a couple hours a week and you will see a big difference!
