I agree with most of what Steven Lee had to say. But, I believe he's missed out on some key components. So, I'll skip over his suggestions and mention a few others.

1.) The website must have a significant amount of text based content that is relevant to your industry, keywords, title text, and description.

2.) Your home page should be used to direct people to other areas of the website. It should typically not contain a lot of content as this is a quick way to ensure your viewer ignores every other aspect of the site.

We're 50 dollars per month with no build or design costs including everything I mentioned. This is about the price most of our competitors charge without the additional services ;)

These days, if you are in business, people expect you to have a website. It becomes a sign of trust subconsciously, and it spells out your intention, services, and gives place for important items, like reviews, specials, contact info, etc. What a website should cost, is a general question. You have to decide what you want, after all, you get only what you pay for. I know my agency, a custom website can go anywhere from 1K to 50K, depending on the needs. If you are just wanting a simple website with 6-10 pages, with mostly information, maybe a contact page,... (more)

Dear Susan,

The website is your virtual storefront. I found a lot of cookie-cutter websites out there, especially in marketing, and it's booooring!

If you make a website, hire someone very creative who will hear your idea, create wonderful graphics, and create a coherent website. Make sure you learn as much as you can about it, sites using Wordpress are easy to maintain after you have it done for you. Check out this site www.quicksilvervideo.com, Patrick creates magical graphics and sites.

The question is simple and so is the answer. When we were younger and you did not have a yellow page age you were like a fly by night....speed time ahead to today and the same applies.

Website can range from $100.00 on up. Depends on what you want.

Contact me and we can discuss.
