Word of mouth and referrals are the best. Facebook works well if you follow their rules; otherwise, your posts are not shown to all of your followers. I do not really get any responses from Instagram other than when it is crossposted on Facebook.

An online presence is just a form of prospecting. With good ad copy...

IE: the right message to the right audience at the right time it can be very effective at making your phone ring with people interested in your service.

What it's not is a substitute for good closing skills.

Facebook is definitely a good start, but don't let your social media presence stop there!

Our company is B2B, so we see a good portion of website traffic generated from Twitter. I'd highly recommend setting up an account for your business if you haven't already.

We have a Facebook page too and we have been getting a good response from our weekly Facebook Live videos. We currently post on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and we will add Pinterest next month.
