Self employed individuals, contractors, and 1099 employees can get assistance from the newly created Massachusetts COVID Relief Fund that First Lady Baker is spearheading. It is still new, as is the CARES Act, and specific points are still being ironed out, but we should be getting more specific guidance shortly.

If you go onto the website website they give you a detailed list of what you need. Pretty predictable things like name rank and serial number etc. It is extremely time consuming I’ll warn you and some of the things they ask for they don’t make clear what they mean exactly. It will take you a long time.
