About Us

The Family Nurturing Center (FNC) is a family support agency working with families with children ages birth through age five who are facing challenges in keeping their children safe. FNC families often struggle with addiction, homelessness, poverty, inter-generational abuse and other significant challenges resulting in family instability, making it difficult to raise healthy children. By offering an array of services to families, including home visitation, therapeutic early childhood classes, crisis support, mental health services, respite care and parenting education, FNC provides families with intensive, individualized support to help stabilize and strengthen families with intensive, individualized support to keep children safe in their parent's care.

Therapeutic Classrooms

Mental Health Services

FNC provides Parent Child Interactive Therapy and Child Parent Psychotherapy for families who are enrolled and screened for services.

Connection to Community Resources

Outreach staff work with families to help stabilize their living conditions so that parents can be more present and emotionally available for their children.

Farm and Food Program

Respite

Families may reserve time in the Respite Childcare Program when they have an emergency or are going through a stressful time and need short-term childcare. Children receive special care in small groups, led by trained and experienced caregivers.
