(more) As the Quality Control Mgr. for Monarch Cleaning Systems in Brevard County , Fla . We are a 30 year company. Our company uses old school methods of growing the business. We can agree word of mouth is the most significant way to grow your cleaning company. But pounding the pavement is next. Hire someone that does not mind being on the phones. On average of 200 dials per day  for first contact business calls. Try your best to get pass the gate keeper or if you are pleasant enough they are more apt to give you the information you are looking for. Do they outsource? And if so , are the open to a quote. If not , try to  get an email to send over your companies information. Follow up on companies that request information. As the Ceo of Monarch Solutions our sister company. We offer appointment setting to help other commercial cleaning companies grow through out the USA . I do not solicit or appointment setting services. I am here to give advice on how we grew Monarch to where is is today.  And as I have read the many answers on here. I agree that basic , down to earth cold calling produces a great return on obtaining new clients.

As a person that have been marketing and helping cleaning companies grow over the years as well as our own company. It depends on several factors. (more) As a person that have been marketing and helping cleaning companies grow over the years as well as our own company. It depends on several factors. First the area, some areas are more difficult to grow in than others. Other than word of mouth. Pounding the pavement is the next best thing. Get you some one that do not mind making a lot of dials and getting a lot of not at this time, we are in house, happy with current services, etc. But do not get discouraged for it is a numbers game, but each one of them calls you make offer to email or fax over your companies information for if ever a need arises . That way regardless they excepted your companies services. And if they are not open to a quote at the time and they out source ask if you can follow up in 6 months or so . And build your calendar. Me personally do to my experience, get someone savvy on the phones , and pound it out. Have them send faxes and emails to all commercial companies thats open to excepting your companies information. I have been marketing for commercial cleaning companies for over 12 years now , as well as for Monarch Cleaning . First thing i would tell you is word of mouth , its hard to get a cleaning business off the ground with out an aggressive phone person to put the dials in. I my self charge $390. for... (more) I have been marketing for commercial cleaning companies for over 12 years now , as well as for Monarch Cleaning . First thing i would tell you is word of mouth , its hard to get a cleaning business off the ground with out an aggressive phone person to put the dials in. I my self charge $390. for 4 qualified appointments in front of the decision maker. A lot of companies dont have working capitol , that effects the growth of your business and it generally takes about 30 to 45 days to receive payment from that commercial account , which is and expense you cover. So i would suggest getting you a good phone person to call the commercial businesses in your area and introduce the services you provide .

1st off im sure you have  a transcript to email or mail to potential residential clients.  2nd. you need someone to pound the pavement by making phone calls to residential customers offering your services and seeing if they are open to you coming out and giving a quote. Most people have emails ,... (more) 1st off im sure you have  a transcript to email or mail to potential residential clients.  2nd. you need someone to pound the pavement by making phone calls to residential customers offering your services and seeing if they are open to you coming out and giving a quote. Most people have emails , email them some information over.  3rd . Insure the potential residential customers are not on a do not call list, which should be in your lead generator if you use one. I have been marketing for cleaning companies for a very long time helping them grow their business. I have not done residential just commercial. A lot of different rules apply between the two . And word of mouth is the best advertisement out there , next is phone calls .
