Appalachian Candle company was established in 2011 by Joseph Townsend in the basement of his Aunts home. As time grew, it was obvious we were going to have to move into a larger space. In 2014 Appalachian Candle Company move our operation to its current location.

The Appalachians are known for three things, their moonshine and their love and passion. Here at Appalachian Candle Company we have spent countless days and hours developing soy candles that we are proud to label as the Appalachians Favorite Candle!

All of our products are hand poured, soybeans are organic, zinc free wicks, USA made glass, labels produced in the USA. Sourcing all of our materials in the USA to help keep jobs right where they belong.

We strive to produce only the products we would be proud to have in our home, that being said we have industry leading burn times on all of our products ranging from our soymelts to the fragrance throwing 21oz container candles.
