I am an Independent Avon Sales Representative in Brooklyn. I sell not only makeup, but creams, fragrances, fashion and jewelry. I can mail you a brochure or drop off a book if you are in my local area.
How We Got Started
Sold Avon in the 80s to supplement income while raising my five children. Just returned to it because I miss the contact with people who love to improve themselves and love helping them do so.

I recently was in a hospital two days with husband and picked up customers there. I introduce myself and offer my brochure indicating I have a website they can access and often see the online purchase several days later. So whether I am in a restaurant or a store (even the laundromat) I see potential customers in front of me.

Word of mouth works best for me. To help it along when a customer buys from me I give them a card that says they will get a 10% discount on their next order if they refer a customer to me.....it usually works.

Yes without a doubt. While I have not done it yet I myself am always looking for beauty videos....any contact with customers is good.

I do it all. As an Avon Rep I find face to face works best and have often just handed out my business card or brochures. I also do social media a lot. My best way of marketing is offering a discount to a customer if that customer refers someone else to me. Everyone wants a discount.
