About Us

With more than 25 years of public relations experience, I’ve had the opportunity to solve interesting challenges and create successful programs for a variety of organizations in a number of different industries. My disciplines include earned media, media training, community relations, event production, writing, crisis communications and issues management.

In 1998, I accepted the opportunity to become a press advance lead for the Clinton White House. For the next two and a half years, I traveled all over the world anywhere from one to three weeks in advance of Presidential and First Lady visits, and served as a liaison to the White House Press Corps and local media. While on location I attached logistics to concepts, and upon the President's arrival I would shepherd the press from Air Force One, into the motorcade (or aboard helicopters), and to event sites where the press would capture carefully crafted visuals supporting the President's remarks and visit.

Many of my most pressing client engagements have resulted in successfully keeping clients out of the news media–this work remains confidential. Some clients who have come to me after crises hit the news experienced a drive-by shooting, an airline crash, tainted food, and a Molotov cocktail.

I rarely submit for awards but am proud to note that in June 2014 I returned from NYC with a Silver Anvil Award (an industry "Oscar") for my work on the Dalai Lama Environmental Summit of May 2013. (Yes, I had the immense pleasure of briefly meeting His Holiness after having moderated his press conference.) This was my second Silver Anvil in as many attempts - my first was in 2006 for work on Travel Oregon’s “Oregon Bounty” campaign.

I take pride in being a strategic thinker and planner, and in consistently exceeding client expectations. PR is my game, and I play to win... and have fun along the way.
