I do think that people are still struggling, but I also think that a lot of people are taking advantage of the extra money from unemployment. I would like to see the states open up safely (with mask mandates) and loosen some of the restrictions that we have going on. As a caterer, our business has suffered a great deal! All large weddings have been either cancelled/rescheduled or happened at much lower scale (backyard weddings) And our corporate business has stopped completely since everyone is working from home. We are barely hanging on. But when we do get a fairly large event - its even harder to get our part-time people to work, because they would rather sit back and collect. I dont think that we would apply for anymore money for the business. I am just hoping that we make it through the winter ~ because next year calendar is filling up quickly (since 75% of our weddings have rescheduled to 2021).

Our catering company suffered especially during April & May. Our corporate business went right out the window with everyone working from home. Most of our weddings for the spring & summer months were either cancelled or rescheduled to next year. And we have just recently been doing some larger events since the restrictions are being eased. We have been doing alot of smaller backyard events which keeps us going. Hoping that corporate accounts pickup during the fall and winter season, as of right now we are down about 90% on that sector. As long as everything goes OK from now to April of 2021 ~ Next year will be a really good year for us ~ we are pretty booked up for weddings!!!
We personalize our services to our clients. And we can customize the menu to their needs. (Vegan, Gluten Free etc) We can provide everything from linens to rentals. We also have full Bar services and the best waitstaff!
