About Us

"A Dream Trip 4 U" was started in 2005 after I decided it was time to stop working for others and created an agency that would be able to operate in a way that my clients would get the best of everything I could offer them. I now am able to work the hours that my clients are available with the premise that nothing beats personalized service, experience, and attention to detail.

While many Internet sites promise special deals, travelers are often unaware of restrictions, exceptions, and fine print. Making the right choices based on price alone is not always the best course of action for travelers. I hear too many stories of travelers regretting that they didn't call me first.

I recognized the need for experienced agents in the Internet age. While many agents succumb to the pressure of bargain Internet sites, I recognized the niche for knowledgeable experienced travel professionals. I knew that travelers would appreciate the values of a full-service travel agency that could turn their dreams of travel into reality. Many travelers learned that they actually saved money by seeking the help of an experienced travel professional. I wanted to highlight all of this and decided to call my agency, "A Dream Trip 4 U".

I have spent over two decades in the industry. I have worked for several other travel agencies, learning how to work with the cruise lines, hotels and tour operators. I continue my learning experience with vendors, destinations, and technology since the world is an ever-changing place and procedures are constantly evolving. I knew I could best serve travelers by creating an agency on my own terms. I was determined to prove that my agency could provide better service and value than any other means of travel planning. I was right. A Dream Trip 4 U has been recognized by suppliers as a great agency to do business with, and they have awarded accolades to me including the very first "Agent of the Month" by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Magazines and newspapers have profiled A Dream Trip 4 U as the smart choice for demanding travelers. I am proud to be recognized as an industry leader.

I had a custom trip to Poland, Ukraine and Czech Republic for April that we had to cancel So I’m getting it repriced and we’ll do it May next year. Most of the people still want to go and say they have more friends that will want to go too. I think people will want to go again as soon as they feel it’s safe. I do think some fear of flying will turn to Drive vacationto for more US spots for awhile as well.

I’m a travel agent/advisor. I have been working for a year on a custom built trip to Poland, Ukraine, & Czech Republic that was to start on April 21st.. I was going to be the group leader. Today I got a call from the tour operator telling me they are cancelling ALL their trips thru the end of... (more) I’m a travel agent/advisor. I have been working for a year on a custom built trip to Poland, Ukraine, & Czech Republic that was to start on April 21st.. I was going to be the group leader. Today I got a call from the tour operator telling me they are cancelling ALL their trips thru the end of April. I was going to be a vendor at a bridal show on March 22nd and the location decided to cancel it - also today. When it rain it pours. But I will redo the trip for a different date cause this will subside. And the bridal show will be rescheduled, so all is not lost. We just need to wait a little while. UPDATE - I’m rescheduling my group trip to depart on May 11, 2021. Almost everyone that signed up is still going. Well have room for more to sign up , so give me a call. My quick tip for the day - Don’t get discouraged. Things will get better soon. Don’t hoard supplies - store will deliver or you can order it on the internet for delivery, or a friend or neighbor can drop stuff off for you. Think positive!

If you really don't want to spend much money, go check with your local community college to see if the professors/teachers would give someone in their class extra credit for doing your website. There are plenty of schools around that have tech classes. And the kids are pretty creative too. I'm... I'm lucky that I have a sister that is a web designer and we are actually going to do some work on my website tomorrow. I own my own Travel Agency (A Dream Trip 4 U) and I am creating some custom trips to Europe in 2020 along with a Christmas Market Riverboat cruise in Dec 2019 that I will be escorting and I really need them front and center on my site. But in addition to my main company website, I also have a couple of sites with Go Daddy that I use their website creator product to work on. Those sites are for specific trips that I ran in the past, but I will be updating them with these new trips also as soon as I get my taxes done. Its a pretty easy program to use, so you shouldn't be too overwhelmed if you try it on your own. You can always call them if you get stuck. Then if you get totally stressed out and need a vacation, call me and I'll send you somewhere fun and/or relaxing - whatever you need.

I haven’t gone through all the comments, but I do have an idea for your logo. Use a male and female soldier at attention as the left lines of the D and the K of your company initials. Here’s how I addressed a 3star rating from someone who has never used my services. And they did it twice using different IDs with the same name. I looked at their reviews and most were 3 stars with no comments and a couple were worse with a short comment. I don’t understand why people do this. Make sure you have addressed all issues and then say something like - “Now that we’ve addressed all your concern, would you like to use your Visa or MC (or whatever card you want to mention) for you payment/deposit? Or - Which card would you like to use for payment? I'm not a morning person, so I prefer the evening meetings best. Luckily being in the travel industry, that's when most of the suppliers have their meetings and the are usually in places that people want to go to so they are well attended.
