Cutlip Financial Insurance

About Us

We are an independent agency providing health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for individuals and businesses. With businesses, I work with the business owner to find the best group coverage for his/her employees, at an cost that is in line with what the company can
afford. CFI works with all group carriers in the state of Florida. In addition, we also work in the Senior market providing Medicare insurance. We work exclusively with Florida Blue in the Individual market, and we are ACA Certified for 2020 to work with the Marketplace. I can work with individuals finding the right plan at the right cost. Do not do it alone. I will navigate the Marketplace, so you do not
have to. Call today.

How We Got Started

My wife and I always wanted to work for ourselves, and with both of us having an Insurance background, we decided to open our own agency. Together, we have a combined experience of over 40 years in the Insurance industry. Trust our expertise to help with your insurance needs.

You would qualify for an SEP (Special Enrollment Period). Once you lose qualifying coverage, an SEP is generated. Now, here is the caveat to that SEP: you must find another qualifying plan within 60 days of losing, in this case, the group insurance coverage.  So, from the date that group coverage was lost, you have 60 days. After 60 days, the only plans available would be STM plans (Short Term Medical).  Hope this helps to answer your question. Respectfully, Dana Cutlip

Time passed when we did nothing, then out of the blue, the client called and said they were ready to go. They stayed with me, because I stayed with them. Built that trust and they felt comfortable. Build that trust and they will stay with you.

Have one to one's and get to know them, both on a personal level, and then on a business level. I always use the one principle I learned from my years in BNI: the VCP principle - V=Visability, C=Credibility and P=Profitability. Once you establish 1 & 2, number 3 will happen.
