When your workforce acts as a team and is rewarded for helping each other they will support each other to get things done and will project a positive image of the company. The customer will trust in your teams and will spread the word from their positive experience.
Advertising is always a requirement, but a happy workforce is the most important thing you can have. If you have their back they in turn will have yours.

Expanding on knowledge is always desirable and we strongly support anyone who wants to grow and learn more.
The cost you assign to a job is your call. We usually work in hourly segments on calls and flat rate in house as we have much more control in house to get a job done than on site with unexpected situations. You cannot account for delays due to workers and ease of access on site, etc.

I am constantly hit by callers wanting to sell me something. The answer becomes no before they even tell me what they can offer me as a result. It eats up your time, which is limited.
If a person has an hour to talk, it is because they are not succeeding and your talk will be worthless. If however, a meeting in a common interest event is arranged, success for both you and the potential client is high.
Find or create an event that interests SEVERAL potential clients. Invite them.. make them feel comfortable.. do not sell them. Talk to them. The sales will come all by themselves.

I actually am a bit old school when it comes to cloud services. You see, all it takes is one weak line of code and your data becomes free for the taking. In today's world it is important to rely on yourself more. You should have a good IT person you can rely on and do this in house if you can spend a little money. You should be using a minimum of 2 factor authentication in any event, whichever path you choose. The Dropbox application will slow your computer quite a bit so that should also be a factor in deciding. I am not anti-cloud, but I do not like having my applications, my data and my life tied to some company that never shows a profit and has very little obligation to you. It is just not a sound solution.
I was one of the first Internet providers. I was there and Al Gore was not. Anything is hackable, and if it is available it will be taken. Remember that.

Customers keep coming and they all say we do the best work. A negative review you stand up to can be just as positive. Just make sure you are right. Lying is not the answer ever. If you were wrong, then make it right.
Besically, be proud of yourself and show confidence. Today so many people follow the crowd and are afraid to be different. It makes us weak and as a country we are even weaker. Stop being a follower!

A referral is an endorsement. The best kind come from word of mouth. We get a lot of them and give a lot of them as well. Most of our referrals come from happy customers who both saved money and got better service. They add up to thousands of dollars in advertising savings every month. Nothing beats a happy customer. We add some social media promotions and our customer base continues to grow steadily as a result of the combined effort.
Other businesses that refer customers to each other also work well for us. I work with some of the smallest and some of the biggest businesses in New York, and together we are strong.
So far, Alignable has not brought us much business, but like anything else, these things take time, and one interaction is worth it. I am still waiting on that one to start things moving.. Will it be you?

Limited screen space on mobiles eliminates all value now. Facebook lets you boost posts so you get more than a few pixels at least.
