We like anything,  from composers Max Richter and Tan Dun to weird Scandinavian folk groups. But neither write a lot of quartet music for us to play. Well,  then there’s Astor Piazzola but he’s not exactly emerging, lol. Most of what we play is dictated by the pop requests of our customers: Beatles, Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain,  Disney,  Bruno Mars, ya know... mostly covers. We’ve never been approached by any emerging String quartet writers so I can’t speak to that...

I have, however, thought about arranging some of my own favorites from the c-jazz playlist since I personally like Standring, Acoustic Alchemy and the like.
