About Us

Welcome to my profile! New Mexico Metals was founded by my husband, Doug, and I in 2022. I have been in the metal industry for over 17 years. Prior to that, I was in the medical field as an RN for 21 years, now retired. Doug, has been in the metal industry for over 40 years.

I am a former Ambassador for the Alliance of Phoenix Metro. I welcome you to connect on my AZ Metals profile in Mesa, AZ as well! I was awarded Business Person of the Year in both 2024 & 2025 in Albuquerque. I am here to help others!

How We Got Started

Doug, and I founded AZ Metals in Mesa, AZ in January 2011. After 12 consecutive years of growth we decided to branch out our business model to another state. We founded New Mexico Metals in Albuquerque, NM and opened the doors in June 2022. Our close friends, who had a successful metal franchise in the area, retired many years ago and thought we should step in and fill the void.

My husband and jet enjoyed a very nice trip to Boston, and took a drive to Maine and New Hampshire as well. So much to see and do! We will definitely be going back!
