Thanks for posting this question. I knew I had to work on 2019 goals and objectives, but have been putting it off. The discussion question helped initiate the process for me.

Because the type of online marketing you choose depends on your intended audience and what resonates with them.
The type of content will also be something to consider because there isn't a one size fit all. Meaning, what works on one platform doesn't always work on another.
Hope this helps.

A Disney World executive once told me while touring the park that they way they go the extra mile for their guest, is one inch at a time.
Even Disney - arguably one of the best in the wowing business - knows that hitting home runs all the time is challenging. So they spend just as much time looking for ways to wow their guest with small, unexpected details. Thus, IMHO the most effective, long-term, sustainable strategy, is to deliver small wow moments in the way of little extra things, gestures, or actions (ie handwritten thank you note, a vacuumed car after an oil change, delivery a day early, personalized package) that your customer wasn't expecting.
Many great answers from the salesperson perspective. As a customer (or potential customer), I appreciate when the salesperson acknowledges we/I are not ready to make a decision and follows up with "... would it be alright if I reach out in X weeks, days, months, to see where you are at in terms...

Persistence is certainly an important quality. But more important - in my humble opinion - is knowing when to be persistent and knowing when to back away. It's an art.
