I own and run a direct primary care practice. It's a membership practice, sort of like a gym membership, where most of my patients pay $45-$75 per month for my care. I'm available for my patients in clinic and after-hours. We include unlimited 30-60 minute office visits, texting, emailing and telephone care. Direct care allows a smaller patient panel and more personalized care. This type of model allows for about 30% of visits to safely be taken care of through electronic means such as texting, video conferencing, or email.
