Our company was started in 1936 by Herbert N. Ruff, one of the early leaders in hybrid seed corn development in Ohio. He was dedicated to producing top quality seed, we have since continued that tradition by offering farmers top-yielding corn hybrids as well as exceptional soybean and wheat varieties. 

Ruff's Seed Farms is a family-owned and operated full-line seed company located near the farming community of
Amanda, Ohio, in Fairfield County.
