The principal of the company started in the apartment industry as the owner, Brent Bralley, was completed his degree in Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation (HVAC).

Upon completion of his degree, Mr. Bralley maintained the HVAC and facility Westgate Mall in Amarillo.

In 1984 he was hired by PJK Development to oversee and maintain multiple commercial office and retail buildings. PJK Development later became Sterling Properties which continued in the development/management of commercial properties where Mr. Bralley worked for 14 years serving in various roles.

Mr. Bralley engaged not only in maintaining the properties, but started building out commercial office space for Sterling Properties and soon became a licensed Real Estate agent and engaged in the leasing and brokering of commercial properties.

June of 1996 became the official beginning of what is now JKB Company, Inc.
