Furbay is a non-profit organization that offers free memberships to animal charities in communities. Through innovative programs, Furbay can raise funds that benefit charities and their supporters.
Businesses can also benefit by linking their online stores to our Furbay network of members and media.
Fur Heavens Sakes' Furbay platform is all about helping animal charities in smaller communities individually or by county or animal category. All are free to members!
How We Got Started
As a retired marketing executive, I joined a community animal shelter's fundraising board and saw the need to create better ways to help smaller animal charities raise money.

Sadly, Sheltie breeders, by intent or ignorance, badly damage the reputation of Sheltie breeders to the point that it's scary. Two of ours developed Cushing's and related illnesses as they aged.
My point in recommending a breeder is that your chances of getting a healthier puppy are increased greatly, although I support rescuing dogs also, but check out the breeder, contact some clients, and be willing to pay more for the puppy, if that applies, because you will benefit by savings in vet costs, but more importantly, you will enjoy more healthy days to live and enjoy your pets.
