About Us
Thrifty Shutters has been serving southern Cal(from the Valley to San Diego) since 2008. I, Joel Brown, have worked in this industry continuously since 1977 having first worked for California Shutters and Joe Via Cava. We sell and install both wood and vinyl shutters. We also refinish and repair old shutters. We have 131 straight A reviews on Angie's List and 5 Star Year. We are bonded, insured with an unblemished(0 complaints) contractor lic #920499.
How We Got Started
First hired by Cal Shutters in 1977 by Joe Via Cava. 20 years with Pacific Shutters until Steve Jewett retired in 2007.
