I do not have a store. If I am set up at a craft or vendor show, when someone approaches my booth, I ask if they have heard of the company I represent, Jordan Essentials. Ninety percent say they have not. It is a good lead in to give a brief explanation of the company and product line. If they...

I do not have a store. If I am set up at a craft or vendor show, when someone approaches my booth, I ask if they have heard of the company I represent, Jordan Essentials. Ninety percent say they have not. It is a good lead in to give a brief explanation of the company and product line. If they say they have, I inquire what they have tried and their experience and results. Either way, it continues the conversation and builds rapport.
As a vendor who gives samples, I often pondered that same question! Knowing the expense involved with samples, I take only what I know I will try.
