Joe Kilsheimer owns and operates Kilsheimer & Associates, a consulting practice that advises clients in local government strategies, public relations / community affairs, marketing and message development, crisis communications and media negotiations. Kilsheimer represents clients who do business in Florida.

As a public affairs consultant prior to serving in elected office, he represented some of Florida’s leading companies, particularly focusing on organizations with thorny PR issues. 

Kilsheimer is a former journalist with more than 20 years of experience. At The Orlando Sentinel, he created the Sentinel’s technology beat and covered the rise of the Internet as a cultural phenomenon. His bylines appeared in publications ranging from the Chicago Tribune to the Washington Post to the Los Angeles Times.
