For the PPP Loan as an owner, can I not get paid and continue to pay our employee with the remaining funds?

There is a lot of misinformation that is being answered on this thread. In order to determine what you are asking and how the funds can be used either for your employee or for you as the business owner, there is much more information that is needed from you to determine an accurate answer this question. There are additional questions that will need to be asked as well based on the information. I would advise that you speak with a qualified CPA that has done some work with the PPP loan forgiveness application and program. You also need to realize that the rules and requirements of this program are continuing to evolve and change.

So True Mike, I would wait until there is final guidance from the SBA. In the meantime run your business in the most proficient way that you would run you business without worrying about forgiveness. Most likely may more borrowers will qualify for forgiveness with the additional 16 weeks. But as Mike indicates, be careful and realize the program continues to change and evolve.

I don't have an account and then our business is really small it's just me and my sister but it's a cleaning and painting business and I need help applying for the loan
