Dear Abel & Sofi: Grieving Mom Struggles To Keep Son’s Memory Alive Via New Non-Profit.

Hi. No words for your loss. The loss of my Mom & Sister-in-law was devastating to me to the point where now work with cancer patients as a career and life-goal. I can't imagine the loss of a child. No words.
Meanwhile, I can speak from the experienced Business Development & strategist's side: I like what Abel said on accessing a college internship group. You'd have an automatic team who might help to offer constant momentum. It would be a great cause for them. I'm thinking a Sorority House could be the ticket. Ladies who wish to make a difference. This is a great cause. The shortest distance between these 2 paths right now appears to be that you can establish a Crowd Funding site from your laptop and cell phone, wherever you are. You'll need to access a source of mass-emails to be able to reach out to enough people to achieve this. It's just a numbers game. Start from where you're at right now. Most people have more connections than they are even aware-of. Think of whose in your existing connections already. Friends & family. Call them & tell them what you're doing. SOMEONE will have some leads and it only takes ONE to get you going so DIAL, DIAL, DIAL!!!
Google media companies like "Hearst" who have basic emailing lists in excess of 100,000,000 people. Call their Public Outreach department or PR person.
Think who would help. THINK NETWORKS!: Schools, Churches, Boyscouts/Girlscouts, Fire departments, YOGA, those in your classes, etc. Ask for help from your priest or reverend if apt. Ask a friend to guide you & help you think if still emotional. You will find additional strength from those who help. I know this.
Blessings to your family and your son. He may be the vary catalyst to something wonderful. YOU will be the channel through which HIS memory lives on.
