It’s not unusual for your customers to want 100 or more free mile tows , blame AAA.
They need to be asked if they are members , and then should be told to call.
If they can’t wait, then tell them what the cost will be. You’re no AAA with hundreds of thousands of subscribers, and can’t afford to offer them free service. Explain what some of the cost doing business are, or change how you do your business.
