I am having a tough time finding experienced carpenters that can do simple tasks that I give them and me not have to go back and rebuild what they’ve done. I can’t believe there is a shortage of carpenters that can do what they say they can. I’m a custom deck and exterior structures builder who needs somebody with an attention to detail in the work they do. I always try to give my employees all the training they can handle but they just don’t seem to get it. Being in the construction industry for 43 years and never would of imagined it would be this difficult to find passionate and prideful carpenters like the way I have been since I was 15 years old.
