The immediate pop-up is irritating; maybe set it to show up after 15 seconds or so. I think moving the "About Us" blurb to the home page would give a little more credibility and help clear up the purpose of the website and what you have to offer. Images and copy need work.
Your home page looks like an unprofessional DIY site and I am not moved to go any further. But then again, I'm not your target market, so my opinion is...my opinion.

This is a blog not a standard website. Most blogs have their recent post show up on the home page. but i will defiantly take your feed back into account once i redo my website design.
