Tiny Tim’s Toys and Train's is an exciting addition to the fun of train watching, shopping, dining, and staying near the tracks of downtown Ashland. Tiny Tim’s Railroad runs in our window everyday while more than 60 trains pass by. Owner Suzanne Hemingway has transformed the town’s turn of the century post office into a charming mix of old and new. Located at 104 S Railroad Ave. Hours Mon-Sat 10-7 and Sunday 11-4.
Russ Youens and Bob Owen bring more than 60 years experience collecting model trains. Over the past year the inventory has grown to include many product lines such as Lionel, MTH, Atlas, Athern. Have Bob or Russ help you use new technology to get your old trains running. Repairs, special orders, layaways, select consignments and gift certificates are available. You can also find Tiny Tim’s Trains at local and regional train shows.
“A great game can be played by all ages. It can be simple, but not juvenile, take a moment to learn and a lifetime to master.” Suzanne invites you to “Come play one of many sample games on our “front porch”.
Suzanne (retired pharmacist, research chemist) and Sonja Myers (event coordinator, scouting leadership) have families affected by autism and learning disabilities. They have researched and met the talented creators of games and toys targeted to many different learning styles. There is an excellent selection of S.T.E.M. curriculum science kits and games teaching history and geography. Look for future events in cooperation with Ashland Theater, Ashland Library and The Ashland Museum.
